Jonathan K. Yu


Jonathan Yu is the founder and CEO, of Ex-Tech International, E-Ti, an Oregon based consulting and management development company with a branch office in Shanghai, China.

Jonathan, a 43-year veteran of high-tech business, recently retired from Lattice Semiconductor Corporation. At Lattice Semiconductor, Jonathan was a corporate vice president of Business and Technology Development, primarily responsible for world-wide wafer foundry and technology development, accomplishments including strategic investments in 8 in and 12 in wafer fabs in Japan and Taiwan, and the development of 0.13 um logic and embedded flash, 90 nm and 65 nm technologies. Previously, Jonathan also served as vice president of Operations. Lattice Semiconductor, headquartered in Portland, Oregon, is a leading supplier of Programmable Logic Devices.

Prior to joining Lattice, Jonathan was the founder and president of Silicon Connections Corporation, San Diego, California, and the president of Applied Micro Circuits Corporation (AMCC) also in San Diego. Jonathan held a variety of general and technical managerial positions at TRW, Unisys (Burroughs Corporation), General Electric, and IBM.

Jonathan received his BSEE and MSEE degrees from Michigan State University and Syracuse University, respectively.

Jonathan is an inventor, author, and lecturer. His hobbies include golf, photography, reading, and Chinese calligraphy.
